Chicken & Broccoli Slaw
- 3-5 shallots chopped
- 1 bag of broccoli slaw
- 3 cloves of garlic chopped
- molasses
- flavored balsamic vinegar (any flavor)
- 1-2 tsp spice mixture (any kind)
- bacon
- already cooked spaghetti squash
- 1 C chicken broth
- cooked chicken
Fry 4-5 pieces of chopped up bacon in a big pan.
Take the bacon out and leave the grease in. Cook the shallots in the bacon grease for a while on medium high heat, stirring enough so they don’t burn.
Add the garlic, keep stirring
When that mixture is cooked to where you like that mixture to be cooked, add the broccoli slaw and coat it with the shallot grease. cook that for about 3 minutes on med-high. Keep stirring it so it doesn’t burn on the bottom.
Add the chicken and bacon stir that all in and then add everything else and stir that in. You can use as much or as little wet ingredients as you want to make it the consistency you want. Same with spice. For this one I used lavender balsamic and a bbq spice blend. It was good, but I would use a different spice blend next time.
